Job Summary (List Format) – AWS Cloud Security Architect (Palo Alto / Enterprise Security)
Lead the architecture, deployment, and optimization of secure AWS cloud environments for enterprise clients.
Design and implement Palo Alto Networks security solutions, including VM-Series firewalls, Panorama, and Prisma Cloud, within AWS and hybrid infrastructures.
Develop secure AWS network architectures (VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, NAT Gateway, Security Groups, NACLs).
Create and maintain cloud security reference architectures aligned with NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and industry standards.
Drive Zero Trust network segmentation and micro-segmentation initiatives for AWS workloads.
Integrate Palo Alto security tools with AWS-native security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, CloudTrail, Config).
Automate cloud security deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Conduct cloud security risk assessments, architecture reviews, and threat modeling.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and DevOps teams.
Support incident response and ongoing cloud security posture improvements.
Develop and maintain cloud security standards, runbooks, and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, DevOps, security).
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and cloud security frameworks.
Required certifications: Palo Alto PCNSE, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, CISSP (or equivalent).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and executive reporting skills.
