Monitoring Engineer

Deerfield Beach, FL

Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

We are seeking a skilled Monitoring Engineer with strong experience in enterprise monitoring tools and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability, performance, and availability across infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions across infrastructure and applications
Configure alerts, dashboards, and reporting for proactive issue detection
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot incidents across Windows and Linux environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and uptime
Support cloud-based monitoring in AWS and/or Azure environments
Perform basic network monitoring and troubleshooting
Continuously improve monitoring processes and automation

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in monitoring or infrastructure engineering
Hands-on experience with at least one monitoring tool:
SolarWinds
Datadog
Dynatrace
Strong knowledge of:
Windows OS and/or Linux OS
Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Basic networking concepts

Preferred Skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working directly with customers or business users

Certifications (Nice to Have)

Certification in SolarWinds, Datadog, or Dynatrace
Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or equivalent fundamentals certification)
