Job Specifications
Job Location: Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite & 2 days remote)
We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with strong enterprise support experience to join our Business Intelligence team. This role will focus on supporting Power BI tenants, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving adoption of Power BI capabilities across the organization.
The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Power BI with strong communication skills, enabling them to lead office hours, guide users, and promote best practices within a Center of Excellence (COE) model.
Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using DAX, Power Query, and advanced data modeling techniques.
Troubleshoot and resolve Power BI issues including dataset refresh failures, gateway connectivity, performance bottlenecks, and permissions.
Support enterprise Power BI tenants, ensuring stability, scalability, and optimal performance.
Lead COE office hours, providing guidance and support to business users and developers.
Educate users on Power BI best practices, governance, and self-service BI capabilities.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Optimize semantic models and reports for performance and usability.
Support SSRS to Power BI migration and modernization initiatives.
Work within Agile teams to deliver high-quality BI solutions.
