We're working exclusively with a Series A startup (14.2M backed!) who are seeking highly skilled Software Engineer (Python / Typescript) with deep expertise in backend development.

As a Senior Engineer, you'll be at the intersection of traditional engineering excellence and cutting-edge AI-assisted development. You'll build production-ready systems, working with automation-generated code and evolving it into robust, scalable solutions.

AI tools like Cursor, Windsurf, and GitHub Copilot are now fundamental to how work gets done - this company are looking for experts with AI used in workflow.

What You'll Do:

Own and evolve backend features using Python or Typescript
Design and implement robust APIs and data workflows
Create seamless integrations with external systems (APIs)
Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers and AI experts
Adapt and extend auto-generated pipelines and front-end outputs

About You:

Strong expertise in Python, Typescript, SQL and PostgreSQL.
Experience building APIs or distributed systems.
AI exposure - Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot.
Experience leading on projects end-to-end with full ownership and autonomy.
