Job Specifications

Insight Global is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join a leading global consulting firm. This individual will play a key role in designing and building agentic AI chatbots for both internal and external use cases. The role is approximately 70% hands‑on engineering and 30% cross‑functional collaboration with product, engineering, and case teams. The ideal candidate is highly self‑sufficient, comfortable operating with minimal oversight, and able to take AI agents from concept to production‑ready deployments. They will contribute to the internal AI roadmap, support case teams with technical guidance, and work across multiple AI platforms and environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML-powered services and applications
Build and maintain backend systems in Python to support model inference, orchestration, and data flows
Integrate AI models with internal and external APIs (REST, GraphQL, third-party services)
Collaborate on system architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
Work with cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines (containers, CI/CD)

Must haves:

10+ years of experience (recent with AI)
Strong experience with Python for backend or ML applications
Hands-on experience building and consuming APIs (RESTful services, JSON, authentication)
Agent system design & development using LangGraph (or similar AGENTIC frameworks)
Experience deploying applications or models to production environments
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (testing, version control, code reviews)
Experience working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
AWS Expertise (serverless)
