Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find a Business Systems (Compensation) Analyst for the largest professional social media company.

Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (true scope = SPM Developer + BSA hybrid)

Location: Hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 9 Months with possible extension.

Responsibilities:

• Orchestrate business activities in a matrix environment and partners with the right individuals and teams to produce results.

• Collaborate closely with the Product Operations, GCO PMO and Technology System teams to research existing business and system.

• Facilitate and document As-Is/To-Be process flows and provide gap analyses of current business processes that need improvement.

• Define sustainable and repeatable processes and helps educate the team to be self-sufficient in conducting similar activities in the future.

• Determine impacts to existing business and system workflows and assist in the development of new optimized and simplified user-centric workflows.

• Conduct systems testing (SIT/UAT)

Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiables)

SPM Tool Experience (HARD REQUIREMENT)

Xactly preferred
Open to: Varicent, CaptivateIQ, Callidus, Catalyst, etc.

Hands-on SPM Configuration

Writing rules (commission, crediting, formulas)
Building compensation plans
Excel-like / if-then logic implementation

Testing Experience

SIT / UAT execution and validation

Business + Technical Blend

Requirements gathering (BRDs)
Translating to technical design (PRDs)

CRM Familiarity (Strongly Expected / Near Required)

Salesforce / Dynamics / similar

Strong Communication Skills

Stakeholder interaction
Requirement clarification

Minimum Experience

~1+ year hands-on SPM configuration/development
Flexible for strong candidates

Nice-to-Have Skills

Direct experience with Xactly

SQL knowledge (for reporting / validation)

Experience with:

Sales compensation structures
Sales operations / sales motion

Exposure to:

SPM analytics / reporting tools
SPM Connect or advanced tooling
Strong problem-solving mindset + curiosity
Agile environment experience

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $67–$69/hr. on W2. Benefits will be available, and details are available at the following links:
