Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Digital Guardian (DG) DLP Administrator to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of our Data Loss Prevention infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Digital Guardian platform, ensuring that enterprise data remains secure while supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deployment & Infrastructure Management

· Manage the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Digital Guardian DLP agents across the enterprise.

· Maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory of all users, categorized by agent versions and operating system environments (Mac/Windows).

· Implement approved configuration changes to DG agents in alignment with client requirements and vendor best practices.

2. Policy Management & Optimization

· Analyze existing policies to ensure effective restriction of unauthorized data movement.

· Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into new, effective DLP policies.

· Conduct thorough testing of new policies in staging environments prior to enterprise-wide deployment to ensure stability and accuracy.

3. Troubleshooting & Technical Support

· Act as the primary point of contact for resolving user-facing issues during agent deployment.

· Perform deep-dive troubleshooting by collecting logs, traces, and system insights to diagnose deployment failures or performance issues.

· Coordinate with the Digital Guardian vendor support team, providing necessary technical documentation and logs to resolve complex or escalated issues.

· Utilize insights from historical incident data to perform policy tweaking and proactive issue reduction.

4. Testing & Quality Assurance

· Lead the testing phase for new agent versions (Mac/Windows) provided by the Digital Guardian team to ensure compatibility and system stability.

· Validate hotfix agents in Stage/Dev environments to ensure they resolve identified issues without impacting production workflows.

5. Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain comprehensive documentation of all procedures, workflows, and operational tasks.

· Keep a detailed knowledge base of past issues and their corresponding resolution steps for future reference and team training.

Requirements

· Proven experience in managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, specifically Digital Guardian.

· Strong understanding of Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.

· Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret logs and technical traces.

· Strong communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional business units and external vendors.

· Ability to maintain detailed records and documentation in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
