Position Overview:
We are hiring a Full-Time Organic Social Media Associate to lead The Sak’s TikTok, Instagram, and cross platform organic social strategy. This person will own day-to-day social, create content, run our calendars, manage posting, track performance, and help bring The Sak’s brand voice to life across platforms. They will play a key role in expanding our reach, deepening community engagement, and modernizing our brand presence through storytelling rooted in craft, creativity, and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the organic social calendar (TikTok, Instagram, emerging platforms).
Film, edit, photograph, and produce social-first content.
Draft captions, schedule posts, and maintain platform best practices.
Identify cultural moments and trends to activate in real time.
Engage with our audience daily and foster a warm, loyal community.
Track performance and deliver weekly/monthly reporting.
Collaborate with brand, product, and creative teams for launches and storytelling moments.
Update creative on other social channels like Pinterest, Youtube, LinkedIn etc.
Focus for this role:
Organic follower growth (TikTok + IG).
Engagement rate & reach.
Content output (volume + quality).
Consistency of posting cadence.
Community responsiveness (comment & DM management).
Performance and audience insights; reporting accuracy
Preferred Experience
3-5 years running organic social for a consumer brand (TikTok + Instagram required).
Strong content creation skills—especially short-form video (shooting + editing).
Deep understanding of trend cycles, social storytelling, and community-building.
Strong aesthetic sensibility aligned with The Sak’s vibe: warm, handcrafted, creative.
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects remotely.
Comfortable using analytics to refine strategy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree – preferred in Marketing.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
