Cybersecurity Consultant (On-Site – New York)

Location: New York City | Duration: 6-Month Contract | Rate: $68/hour

We’re seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join the Information/Cyber Security Team (ADC-RSD). This is a hands-on, on-site role in New York, ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy tackling real-world security challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing

Implement, maintain, and monitor cybersecurity tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF) to protect enterprise systems
Conduct firewall rule reviews and optimize configurations to strengthen network security posture
Perform incident analysis and investigations, identifying root causes and mitigating risks
Support security assessments and handle ad-hoc cybersecurity initiatives as needed

What We’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with 3–5 years of relevant cybersecurity experience
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, infrastructure, networks, and systems
Proven ability to analyze and respond to cybersecurity alerts and incidents
Hands-on experience maintaining security tools, plus excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CRISC
Prior experience in a dedicated cybersecurity-focused role
