Job Specifications

Our client, a leading organization focused on business support services, is looking for a developer to strengthen their internal finance and HR systems. The role involves building, extending, and maintaining critical applications while balancing new feature development with the optimization of existing functionalities.

Responsibilities

Develop robust backend features using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
Perform technical analyses for new and existing system functionalities.
Manage the life cycle of internal applications to ensure long-term stability.
Integrate backend solutions with external platforms including accounting and workforce management systems.
Implement security enhancements and maintain alignment with development best practices.
Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders during sprint planning and refinements.

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in backend development.
You bring advanced knowledge of Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
You possess experience with Clean Code principles and CI/CD.
You have a strong understanding of Microservices architecture and system integrations.
You're analytically minded and capable of refactoring complex codebases.
You're a proactive team player who takes ownership and communicates effectively with stakeholders.
You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

Domain knowledge in payroll, HR, finance, or security.
Experience working with Workday or financial software packages.
