Rate- £85 per hour
IR35 Status - Inside IR35
The Location - Manchester
The Working Pattern - Full time, 1 day per week in the office
Duration - Approximately 6 months

About the Role
This Senior Product Manager role focuses on a complex Back End and data ecosystem that powers key customer and commercial workflows. You will ensure continuity of delivery, maintain operational stability and provide strategic direction across the supply data landscape. The position requires working closely with engineering, commercial and compliance stakeholders to support high scale, data driven systems.
Responsibilities
Own and evolve the long term product strategy for supply data.
Maintain the roadmap, balancing short term delivery with long term platform health.
Partner with engineering to ensure predictable, high quality delivery.
Manage cross functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance and Risk.
Oversee release planning and communicate progress clearly to senior stakeholders.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy and fitness for purpose across multiple data domains.
Support operational stability in areas linked to customer experience, compliance and financial processes.
Engage in technical discussions on APIs, integrations, data flows and distributed system behaviour.
Desired Skills and Experience
5 to 8 years experience as a Technical Product Manager in high scale Back End or data centric environments.
Strong technical fluency across APIs, data models, integrations and service based architectures.
Experience working with distributed systems and event driven data flows.
Ability to translate complex technical details for non technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical mindset and confidence using data to support decisions.
Excellent stakeholder management and alignment skills.
Experience with Legacy Back End systems or complex data pipelines is beneficial.
Engineering or test engineering background considered an advantage.
