Full Time - Junior Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine

Grange University Hospital, Cwmbran, South East Wales

Duration: to 4th August 2026

Anticipated Start Date: Immediate

Do you want to work in a busy but supportive Specialist Critical Care Centre with an Emergency Department which has a great reputation for clinical experience and teaching?

Applications are invited for Junior Clinical Fellows in Emergency Medicine for an immediate start until 4th August 2026.

Main duties of the job

The applicant will work alongside trainee residents and be afforded the same educational opportunities. This includes protected monthly Consultant led teaching days. Study leave is encouraged and there will be opportunities for Quality Improvement work. A named Educational Supervisor will support portfolio and career development.

The Emergency Unit is a busy department supported by four Minor Injury Units which together see 120,000 new patient attendances per year. 25% of attendances are to the dedicated paediatric area.

The post would suit those who have completed their FY2 training and are seeking further experience within a supportive team prior to August 2026.
