London Markets Test Manager

As a pivotal member of our delivery team, you will be at the forefront of the London Market’s Blueprint Two digital transformation. This role focuses on assuring quality across placing, underwriting, delegated authority, and central market services within a highly integrated, multi-party ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Execution: Own and deliver the end-to-end test strategy and execution for high-profile London Markets programs.
Platform Mastery: Lead testing across critical platforms, including PPL, Whitespace, DXC DPS, DDM, and the Blueprint Two Digital Spine/Gateway.
Lifecycle Oversight: Manage testing for the full insurance lifecycle: placing, binding, delegated authority, accounting, settlement, and claims journeys.
Team Leadership: Coordinate onshore and offshore test teams across functional, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Quality Governance: Drive defect management, test reporting, quality metrics, and final go-live readiness assessments.
Stakeholder Management: Work closely with a diverse ecosystem of brokers, carriers, MGAs, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Data Compliance: Ensure all testing aligns with market data standards, including ACORD GRLC and the Core Data Record (CDR).
Essential Skills & Experience
Domain Expertise: Proven experience as a Test Manager or Senior Test Manager specifically within the London Markets or Specialty Insurance sector.
Technical Familiarity: Hands-on experience testing London Market platforms (e.g., PPL, Whitespace, DPS, DDM).
Program Delivery: A track record of successful delivery on large, complex, multi-vendor transformation programs.
Market Knowledge: A deep understanding of Blueprint Two initiatives and evolving London Market operating models.
Tooling: Proficiency with industry-standard test management tools such as Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
Desirable Attributes
Experience with commercial lines platforms like Guidewire, Novidea, or Send.
Exposure to automation-first testing and integration-heavy environments.
Familiarity with Cloud and API-led architecture.
