Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Amazon through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be an employee of Amazon.

Job Summary

This position serves as a key strategic partner in managing the complete employee lifecycle within the organization. The role encompasses full-cycle recruitment activities, from initial candidate sourcing through successful onboarding, while also managing critical employee transitions and status changes. Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership, this professional exercises considerable autonomy in developing and implementing human resources strategies that align with organizational objectives. The position requires sophisticated judgment in evaluating talent, navigating complex interpersonal dynamics, and ensuring compliance with employment practices. With the authority to lead initiatives and guide team members, this role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
Conduct thorough reference checks to verify candidate qualifications and employment history
Extend employment offers and negotiate terms with selected candidates
Design and deliver comprehensive new employee orientation programs
Facilitate exit interviews to gather feedback and identify organizational improvement opportunities
Process and document all employee status changes accurately and in a timely manner
Lead and mentor team members in human resources functions and best practices
Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent
Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and organizational goals
Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
