Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our organization’s Salesforce environment, ensuring reliable day-to-day operations and a positive user experience. This role will focus on troubleshooting user issues, maintaining system configurations, supporting automation, and helping ensure strong data quality and governance across the platform.
The Salesforce Administrator will play a key role in supporting ongoing initiatives and enhancements within Salesforce, including building and maintaining automation using Salesforce Flow, supporting sandbox testing, and assisting with structured deployments of new features and system improvements. This role will also contribute to quality assurance efforts to ensure new configurations and automation function as expected before being released to production.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and the technical team, the Salesforce Administrator will help identify opportunities to improve workflows, maintain data integrity, and support effective system usage across the organization.
While the primary focus of this position will be Salesforce, the role will collaborate with the broader technical team to support integrations and related systems within our technology ecosystem, including tools such as Microsoft 365 and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, methodical in testing and troubleshooting, and comfortable translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Salesforce Administration & Support
Provide day-to-day administration and support of the Salesforce platform, including troubleshooting user issues and resolving system errors.
Configure and maintain Salesforce features including fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
Support the creation, maintenance, and optimization of automation using Salesforce Flows while adhering to platform best practices (including designing flows to be bulk-safe and scalable).
Monitor system usage and performance, identify inefficiencies, and assist in implementing improvements to enhance reliability and user experience.
Assist with user management including account setup, permissions, profiles, and role assignments to ensure appropriate access and compliance.
2. Data Management & Quality
Perform data imports, updates, and clean-up activities using Salesforce tools and spreadsheets.
Support data integrity initiatives by identifying duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent records and implementing corrective actions.
Assist in maintaining data governance standards and ensure data accuracy across Salesforce objects.
Utilize spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel) to prepare, validate, and analyze datasets prior to data operations.
3. Automation QA & Release Support
Conduct quality assurance testing for new automation, configuration changes, and deployments to ensure reliability and alignment with requirements.
Develop and execute structured test cases for Salesforce Flows and other system changes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to validate functionality and confirm expected outcomes before release.
Document defects, troubleshoot issues, and support resolution prior to deployment.
4. User Support, Training & Enablement
Serve as a point of contact for Salesforce-related questions, providing technical assistance and guidance to end users.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff when explaining system functionality or issue resolution.
Assist in delivering occasional training sessions and user guidance to support adoption of new Salesforce features and processes.
5. Documentation & Process Improvement
Maintain clear documentation for Salesforce configurations, automation logic, testing procedures, and operational processes.
Contribute to internal knowledge base and enablement resources for new features and system updates.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and system usage to support operational efficiency across teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
