ROLE SUMMARY
ServiceNow Form Developer responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing forms and user interfaces within the ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on Form Designer, client‑side scripting, UI policies, UX optimization, accessibility, and GenAI/Now Assist features, ensuring a high‑quality user experience aligned with ITSM processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Form & UI Development
Design and configure custom forms using ServiceNow Form Designer and Studio
Configure form layouts, views, sections, related lists, and UI actions
Develop Client Scripts and UI Policies to control form behavior dynamically
Ensure responsive, user‑friendly, and accessible forms across devices
UX, Accessibility & Usability
Implement ADA / WCAG accessibility standards
Optimize form usability and performance
Collaborate with process owners to translate business needs into intuitive form designs
Validate cross‑browser compatibility and responsive behavior
Scripting & Automation
Develop Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Business Rules
Implement Flow Designer and legacy workflows to support form‑driven processes
Maintain clean, reusable client‑side logic
GenAI / Platform Enhancements
Leverage Now Assist and ServiceNow GenAI capabilities where applicable
Support upgrades, form migrations, and platform enhancements
Troubleshoot form‑related issues and UI defects
Testing & Delivery
Perform functional testing, regression testing, and UAT support
Document form configurations and UI behavior
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
