We are supporting a fast-growing European deeptech scale-up operating at the forefront of AI and quantum computing, in hiring a Strategic Account Executive to drive growth in France.

This company is recognised globally as a leader in advanced AI, delivering high-impact solutions used by major enterprises to tackle complex optimisation, performance, and cost challenges.

The Role

Reporting to the EMEA Sales leadership, you will own the development of strategic accounts across specific industries (such as, but not necessarily, Banking, Insurance and Financial Services).

This is a high-value, consultative sales role involving complex deal cycles and cutting-edge technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

Define and execute the commercial strategy across France
Identify, qualify, and close opportunities within large enterprises and mid-market accounts
Manage full sales cycles from prospecting through to closing and expansion
Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline

Complex and Consultative Selling

Engage with C-level stakeholders across Innovation, Data, IT and Business functions
Understand key business challenges such as ROI, performance, compliance and cost optimisation
Position advanced AI solutions as strategic enablers
Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with Sales Engineering, Product and R&D teams
Support POCs, demos and solution design
Contribute to sector-specific go-to-market strategy
Represent the company at industry events across finance, AI and innovation

YOUR PROFILE

Experience

5 to 10 years in complex B2B sales such as SaaS, AI, data, cloud or enterprise software
Strong experience and network within banking, insurance or financial services
Proven track record closing large deals from €300k to multi-million
Experience navigating long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

Skills

Ability to sell high-value, technical solutions
Solid understanding of AI, data or infrastructure topics without needing to be hands-on
Strong negotiation and deal structuring skills
Autonomous, structured and entrepreneurial mindset

Languages

Fluent French & English (any other European languages would be a bonus)
