Service Delivery Manager

Location: Stonehouse (office x2011;based with regional travel)

Salary: GBP45,000 : GBP55,000 DOE

Im working with a managed service provider thats looking for a Service Delivery Manager to take ownership of their technical support function. This is an office x2011;based role in Stonehouse with regular travel to nearby customer sites. Youll be responsible for leading a technical team, maintaining strong service levels, and delivering both operational support and project work.

What youll be doing

Managing the day x2011;to x2011;day performance of the service desk and technical support team
Ensuring service requests and tickets are resolved within SLA
Coaching, mentoring and developing engineers across all levels
Running regular customer service reviews and building strong relationships
Handling escalations and resolving issues quickly and professionally
Producing operational and performance reports for senior leadership
Overseeing patching, updates, maintenance and system checks
Making sure customer environments remain secure, stable and compliant
Leading IT projects including upgrades, migrations and new solution deployments
Managing external suppliers and keeping project timelines on track
Working closely with internal teams to understand requirements and provide guidance

What theyre looking for

A minimum of 3 years experience in a service delivery or technical leadership role within an MSP
Strong communication skills with confidence in customer x2011;facing situations
Experience developing and managing technical teams
A customer x2011;focused approach with excellent attention to detail
Strong problem x2011;solving and analytical skills
Proven track record in delivering IT projects and managing suppliers
Good understanding of infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking and cybersecurity best practice
