Job Specifications
We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our DevOps team to manage an on-premise infrastructure with the opportunity to expand into automation and CI/CD over time.
Key Skills and Experience:
Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, sysadmin tasks)
Basic Linux administration (user management, logs, troubleshooting)
Networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
Security best practices (patching, hardening, access control)
Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (e.g. PRTG, Grafana, Nagios, Prometheus, Zabbix)
Troubleshooting and maintaining servers based on monitoring data
Basic Git knowledge (commits, branching, pull requests)
Scripting ability (eg PowerShell, Python, Bash)
Monitor infrastructure health, review logs and investigate alerts
Maintain and document on-premise servers and virtual machines
Plan and assist with OS upgrades, maintenance and lifecycle management for internal infrastructure
Manage patching, updates and security compliance for servers
Review and maintain Active Directory, including user access and domain configurations
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience with VMware and vSphere administration
Exposure to automation and CI/CD concepts
Experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos)
Interest in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
Understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals
