We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join us, in this newly created role, and play a key role in continuing the data transformation for Malmaison and Hotel Du Vin. As Data Analyst, you will support the teams across our functions (Revenue, HR, Finance and Operations) as well as the senior leadership team by building a data rich environment and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data. The purpose of this role is to ensure data can be trusted and available to the right people, in the right way, at the right time.

We are looking for a focused and committed individual that not only enjoys the technical elements required to build best in class data products but equally enjoys engaging with all parts of the business to understand their requirements and deliver the data needed.

The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative team in a vibrant business as we continue to enhance the Technology & Data transformation journey.

What You’ll Be Doing As a Data Analyst:

Create innovative ways to bring data to life for the benefit of the company.
Support reporting and analytics, including KPIs, financial reports, and improving dashboards.
Translate data into decision-making tools through modelling, visualizations, and metrics.
Deliver hotel analytics by working with subject matter experts.
Collaborate with business functions and HQ colleagues in Singapore to deliver analytics that enhance operational efficiency.
Perform quantitative analysis to support decision-making.
Identify and recommend solutions to accelerate and enhance the use of data sets within the company.
Build effective relationships with key stakeholders across business functions (Revenue, HR, Finance, and Operations).
Share timely and useful updates on the data transformation journey in an understandable language.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of data models and platform requirements.


What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a Data Analyst - experience within hotels, hospitality or multi-site retail would be beneficial.
Strong reporting skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience building user friendly and engaging dashboards.
Exposure to Microsoft Azure data stack.
Experience using Power BI.
Knowledge of Hospitality industry is preferred.
Desirable: Power BI Administration.
Desirable: Understanding of Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning.
Exposure to financial systems data (i.e. SAP, Budgeting & forecasting).
Advanced working knowledge and experience with relational databases and query authoring (SQL).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
