Job Description-

Job Title: Scala Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Scala applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Troubleshoot and debug applications.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Scala Developer or similar role with 6+ years of experience
Strong knowledge of Scala programming language.
Experience with frameworks such as Akka, Play, or Spark.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
Understanding of software development principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Skill Matrix-

Strong experience in SCALA and SPARK
Banking domain knowledge
Experience in Database and Data migration, transformations and ETL process
Experience and sound knowledge in Advanced SQLs and Join
Experience in RESTful APIs and web services
Good analytical skills with ability to understand the data lineage of the system under test
Good communication and willing to learn
