About Us:
We are a growing eCommerce beauty business based in Manchester, expanding into the US. We are looking for a talented Front-End Developer with expertise in Shopify to join our team and enhance our online shopping experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on an established Shopify-based website and app, contributing to the growth of a dynamic brand.
Role Overview:
As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing our Shopify storefront. You will work closely with our Ecommerce, UX designers, SEO specialists, and CRM team to create seamless, high-performing, and visually engaging user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain our Shopify storefront using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Collaborate with UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive designs.
Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
Develop our custom Shopify theme and modify existing templates.
Integrate third-party Shopify apps and APIs to enhance functionality.
Work with the CRM and marketing teams to ensure smooth implementation of promotional campaigns.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.
Keep up-to-date with the latest Shopify and front-end development trends.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Front-End Developer, preferably with Shopify.
Strong skills in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party app integrations.
Understanding of SEO principles and web performance optimization.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
