Davenham have an exciting opportunity available for an Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Fairham, Nottingham. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £37,011 per annum.

About The Role

Hours: 39 hours Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 5.30pm. Voluntary overtime Friday to 1pm, paid @ x 1.5

As an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong understanding of electrical systems the role will involve interpreting 3-phase schematic drawings to manufacture switchgear assemblies. Working in a team you will be contributing to the manufacture and assembly of cutting-edge components that power our innovative power solutions.

Your key duties as our Electrical Engineer will include:

Assist in the manufacturing of top-quality units for electrical switchgear systems.
Interpret and implement 3 phase schematic and mechanical drawings with precision
Working to detailed CAD created drawings and schematics
Repair and modify electronic automated systems
Ensure maintenance of all company equipment
Operate machinery and equipment expertly, ensuring seamless execution of tasks in line with established procedures.
Collaborate closely with your team to meet and exceed production targets and deadlines
Uphold our company's standards and deliver products of unmatched excellence.
Champion 5S principles, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Adhere rigorously to health and safety regulations

What we are looking for in our ideal Electrical Engineer:

16th / 17th / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
JIB/ECS Gold Card
Demonstrated experience in LV electronic Switchgear manufacturing
Demonstrated work experience with hand tools and power tools is necessary
Strong communication and coordination skills, proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must
Demonstrate initiative and precision, adhering to strict quality standards
Utilise critical thinking skills to tackle challenges head-on and uncover solutions that keep us moving forward
Embrace teamwork, recognising that our collective success relies upon each individual's contribution
Strive for excellence, driven by a pursuit of optimal results in everything you do
