Are you an experienced lecturer in Computer Science, seeking a flexible and rewarding contract? If so, we have an exciting opportunity at QAHE Solent Pathway College, located on the Solent University campus in Southampton.
Our mission is to deliver a high-quality student experience that drives academic success. To achieve this, we are looking for a passionate and skilled lecturer to teach a range of Computer Science modules (Web technologies, UX and Networks & Security) at Levels 3 and 4. You’ll play a vital role in helping international students develop the confidence and academic skills they need to successfully progress to their university studies.
A Little More About The Role
Deliver engaging small classes and seminars for Level 4 international higher education students.
Ensure that teaching content aligns with module expectations and the overall programme of study.
Assess student work against appropriate academic benchmarks within set timeframes.
What We’re Looking For
A master’s degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in a relevant subject area.
A relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, BEd, PGCert, MA TESOL, or DELTA (essential).
HEA Fellowship (preferred).
Experience teaching international students at Levels 3 and 4 (preferred), or a strong interest in supporting learners transitioning to Levels 4 and 5.
Vital subject knowledge in: UX, Network & Security and Web Technologies.
