Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Virtualization
Paris / hybrid
€85-90K fixed salary + €5K to €8K variable bonus

TECH STACK: KubeVirt, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Fluentd, Grafana, Ansible, GCP, OVH Cloud

THE COMPANY:
This is an opportunity to work for a leading digital marketing company with a comprehensive SaaS product that helps clients automate their marketing campaigns. With an international presence and culture, they have a growing customer base, leading to increasing data volumes. In this big data environment, the company is looking for a Platform Engineer with proven experience in virtualization and orchestration, who has worked in 24/7 production environments and handled large-scale data volumes.

THE ROLE:
Your main responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining virtualization platforms (KubeVirt and Harvester)
Designing and optimizing orchestration workflows for automation processes
Ensuring high availability of systems through monitoring and performance optimization (Fluentd, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
Infrastructure optimization and troubleshooting
Writing and maintaining detailed documentation of best practices and actively contributing to the team's success through collaboration

DESIRED PROFILE:
The ideal candidate should meet as many of the following criteria as possible:
Master’s degree (Bac+5) preferred
Experience working in 24/7 production environments
Expertise in open-source virtualization solutions
Comfortable with Linux on bare-metal servers
Experience with both cloud and on-premise environments
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Python, Docker, and networking
Fluent English is essential
