Lead Developer / Tech Lead - (.NET / Maui / Android)
Bicester Town Centre, Oxfordshire (x1 day per week in office) - Hybrid / Remote
£70,000 - £80,000 DOE + Benefits
Tech Stack: C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL / SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, Android with MAUI, GIT, Azure.
We are working with a highly established and successful Software Company who build Web and Mobile Apps for global clients across various industries. After a recent takeover, it’s exciting times for this technology company as they embark on the next phase of their growth.
Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking for a Lead Developer to join the business and lead a small, Agile squad of 3 Developers through a range of new ASP.NET Website & Mobile App / Software Projects (Android with .NET MAUI), via two-weekly sprints.
It’s a true Tech Lead role, which would suit a Senior Software Engineer who likes to remain hands-on with coding, but also enjoys leading, mentoring and coaching other Developers (Code reviews, standards etc). You will also have an input into product direction and encourage your team to turn the product vision, into reality.
There is a great culture in this business (genuinely) with a very settled and happy team at all levels, and a very low turnover of staff. They all get together in the Bicester office every Wednesday for collaboration sessions but tend to work from home the rest of the week, which they think is the best of both worlds. The HQ is walkable from the railway station and easily reachable from London and the Midlands.
So, who would suit this role?
A Senior / Lead Software Developer with a background in ASP.NET Core and Mobile App Development; bonus points if these are Android Apps built with Xamarin or MAUI.
You’ll be a great communicator, who is passionate about shipping exceptional products and ideally, have some experience leading and coaching a small Agile Software Development team.
