About
DeepLife is a series A startup focused on addressing the urgent need to increase drug discovery reliability by acting on the earliest step, drug target identification. This consists of identifying, a molecular target, such as a protein, that will trigger the transition from disease to healthy cells. With current methods, only 1 target in 10,000 reach the market, leading to a significant loss of time and efforts in the community.
Our approach is to leverage the recent revolution in the omics data, measuring precisely cells activity at large scale, and build foundation models to mimic cell behavior in various contexts and identify the optimal trigger to reverse disease state.
Half of the team today is dedicated to build the largest omics database, aka omics atlas, to map all human body tissues and diseases and reduce experimental biases.
We offer a research friendly environment, with 90% of the company holding a PhD, with academic collaborations and publications. The team is international and composed of +10 different nationalities. The company is remote first with most of the work is remote and regular events organized in our offices in Paris.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer, AI with a passion for building innovative Artificial Intelligence applications in modern cloud infrastructures. In this pivotal role, you will develop and integrate cutting‑edge LLMs, foundational, protein-structure, causal as well as graph models in our products. You will help to transition R&D into production. Also, you’ll be developing the products itself with other collaborators (backend, frontend, ..)
Your Responsibilities
Build and maintain backends and frontend apps for both internal and customers
Contribute to develop our SaaS Platform
Support the R&D team in software design and implementation
Work on innovative AI topics, from agentic systems to foundation models
Contribute to workshops to design and develop new features
Be part of the product team, working closely with the Tech Lead, Bioinformaticians, and ML Engineers
Preferred Experience
5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong backend focus
Excellent command of Python and frameworks like FastAPI/Django
Experience in developing scalable and secure APIs
Knowledge of streaming protocols
Strong general understanding of Artificial Intelligence
Experience implementing deep learning models (production inference)
Autonomous, rigorous, and able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Experience working on developing AI Conversational Agents or industrialization of AI products is a plus
Experience on implementation of online learning frameworks is a plus

- Start date: May 2025 Clearance: NATO Secret Location: Mons (100% onsite) Duties and Activities: Ensuring data accuracy and up-to-date data for Active Directory (AD) Security issues: Ensure accurate and up-to-date AD data is collected from the different Domains in scope, Security baselines are configured based on industry best practice and NATO policies, Review existing policies, fine tune and improve them at the same time, Report to the Tool Managers any technical issues, such as connectivity problems between Tenable Identity Exposure and other integrated systems or errors in scans or reports, Follow up the new releasing of the security solutions to consider the implementation of new features or capabilities Monitoring, analysing the collected data, prioritizing based on risk assessment for Active Directory (AD) Security issues: Monitor the solution daily Identify the potential security issues Ensure that the collected data is analysed Prioritize the remediation actions based on the previous point Reporting Active Directory (AD) Security issues: Critical vulnerabilities will be reported within 4 hours since identified High vulnerabilities will be reported within 8 hours since identified Deliver a comprehensive vulnerability report to each stakeholder under you area of responsibility taking into account all vulnerabilities posing a security risk, remediation actions recommended to the system/application owners and the status of the recommended actions.
