A dynamic and fast-growing organisation within the business services sector is seeking an accomplished Interim Group Finance Director to join its leadership team. With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional service across diverse markets, the company is poised for significant growth, offering the right candidate a unique opportunity to make a substantial impact.

This role is a six to nine month contract role.

Role Overview: As Group Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s financial strategy, ensuring robust governance, and delivering operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the Board, you will lead a talented finance team and oversee all financial aspects of the business, including strategic planning, budgeting, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the group’s financial strategy to support long-term growth and profitability.
Lead the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Oversee cash flow, funding, and capital management activities.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and implement robust internal controls.
Provide financial insights to the leadership team, influencing decision-making and strategic initiatives.
Manage and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Identify and assess opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic partnerships.
Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, including auditors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within the business services sector.
Strong understanding of corporate finance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with a track record of delivering financial excellence.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear recommendations.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
Experience in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment is highly desirable.
