Market Intelligence Analyst
3 month contract
London - 3 days in office mandatory
Up to £325 per day - Inside IR35 PAYE

This opportunity is to join a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.
As an analyst on the team, you will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, good analytical skills and building rapport with clients and colleagues is essential to success. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who has both strong interpersonal skills and numerical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Working closely with bankers in the team and across other groups to help support their client base
* Provide market knowledge and data for client presentations, pitches and general updates
* Interact and assist high-profile corporate clients
* Contributing to team discussions and client meetings
* Responsible for the management and development of several excel databases
* Deliver rapid and accurate market judgments to colleagues and clients
* Assist with developing and preparing PowerPoint presentations on recent financial market developments
* Keep abreast of all relevant macro, sector and client-specific news flow
* Responsible for the preparation of daily equity market reports
* Interaction with varying product teams across the firm to deliver content

Essential Skills:
* Strong interest in financial markets, macro events and the commercial landscape
* Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
* Strong team player able to work effectively in a team environment
* Some experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Committed to delivery of highest quality work product; strong attention to detail
* Ability to effectively prioritise and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
* Strong understanding of professional ethics and regulatory environment including working in highly confidential situations
* Strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to excellence
* Strong organisational skills
* The ability to process data and learn new skills quickly
