Job Specifications
As our team continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Game Data Analyst to join the Business Intelligence team in a cross-functional capacity. Reporting to the Senior Sales Planning and Analytics Manager, the analyst will focus on game data analysis, reporting, and decision-making, collaborating with development teams, shared tech, and key business stakeholders.
The rundown:
9-month fixed-term contract
Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Hybrid at our Farnborough office - 1 day per week on-site
Salary is competitive and dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Data-Driven Insights & Decision-Making
Analyse player behaviour, product performance, and business metrics to provide actionable insights.
Use data analytics to support game design, monetisation, and engagement strategies.
Work with stakeholders to influence product and feature roadmap decisions.
Data Management & Automation
Maintain SQL databases for efficient data analysis.
Automate data processes to streamline analysis and reporting.
Business Intelligence & Reporting
Develop and maintain BI reports and dashboards to communicate key findings.
Clearly present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
Work closely with data engineers and game developers to define data requirements and telemetry events.
Work with the publishing team to optimise retargeting and reactivation campaigns.
Requirements
Experience working with large game datasets.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data.
Strong programming skills with Python preferred
Experience with business intelligence and data visualisation tools (Power BI preferred)
Understanding of the games industry to provide meaningful and relevant analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to share findings with stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics) or equivalent experience.
Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and problem-solving skills
