Description
Role Title: Cloud AWS Sol Architect
Location: Hybrid (2 days from office) Knutsford
Duration: Until the end of 2025
Contract Inside IR35 on umbrella

To be successful as a Solution Architect you should have experience with:
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS for hybrid or multi-cloud deployments, including services like compute, storage, and networking
Hybrid Cloud: Ability to integrate private and public clouds for scalability, cost-efficiency, and resilience
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills using tools like Terraform or Ansible for automated provisioning and management.
Containerization and orchestration expertise (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for microservices-based architectures common in banking products.
Understanding of banking regulations and compliance standards (e.g., PCIR, INDIA, UAE & APAC payments regulations) to ensure solutions meet legal and security requirements.
Minimum 8 yrs of experience of working on complex end to end designs as SA.
Expert in Cloud AWS Data migration.
Strong knowledge and hands on exp in Java + Kafka.
Experience in complex systems integration with sound knowledge of implementation and integration issues and their architectural implications and cloud hosting.
Should be expert in cloud hosting or application and implementation and 3rd party integration
Excellent understanding of best practice architectural and design methods with proven innovative and leading edge thinking
Understanding/knowledge of full stack development Tech especially with backend development frameworks.
Exp of working with various stakeholders.
Ability to exhibit deep tech understanding conveyed through crisp solution design walkthroughs.
Exp working with AWS cloud architecture and design cloud solutions.
Familiarity with core banking systems, payment processing (e.g., RTGS, UPI, NEFT, IMPS, Cross Border, UAE local scheme, NPSS, etc ), and financial APIs (e.g., Open Banking standards).
Knowledge of securing cloud environments (e.g., encryption, identity access management, firewalls, etc) to protect sensitive financial data.
Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies in cloud and DevOps workflows.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
CERTIFIED AWS Solutions Architect, Vendor-specific private cloud certifications (e.g., VMware VCP, Red Hat Openshift).
Experience with serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda) for cost-effective, scalable banking microservices.
Knowledge of blockchain or distributed ledger technology for secure transaction systems.
Familiarity with AI/ML integration for fraud detection or customer analytics in banking.
Expertise in monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) for real-time system performance tracking.
Proficiency in GitOps workflows for streamlined deployments.
