We are working exclusively with a extremely exciting, fast growth investment firm, helping them secure an Assistant Accountant. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for leveraging technology to optimize accounting processes.

On a day-to-day basis, this position with manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing while supporting month-end and year-end financial reconciliations, reporting, and ledger maintenance. You will utilize relevant coding languages / leverage accounting systems (Python, SQL, and VBA) to automate financial workflows, optimize reporting, and enhance data analysis capabilities. In doing this, you will work closely with finance and technology teams to implement automation tools for accounting and reporting functions and assist in developing dashboards to enhance operational efficiency.

For this we are looking for detail orientated candidates, who have experience working in a large, or fast growth firm (financial services desirable). You should thrive working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. It is important to have exposure to a coding language and have a track record of being proactive with automation / process improvement tasks.

The team have a flexible budget and will offer a considerable uplift in base for the right candidate (20-30%+ increase) plus extremely generous bonus. They offer excellent progression and can offer full study support.
