Job Description
We are seeking a Data Scientist to drive data-driven insights, predictive modeling, and AI solutions for our public platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and big data analytics to enhance platform performance, user engagement, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Modeling: Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to extract actionable insights from platform data.
Big Data Processing: Work with large-scale datasets using distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, or cloud-based solutions.
AI & Machine Learning Implementation: Deploy AI-driven solutions to optimize content recommendations, fraud detection, and user engagement.
Data Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers to ensure efficient data pipeline development, ETL processes, and database optimization.
A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design and execute A/B tests to measure the impact of new features and improvements on platform performance.
Public Data Insights: Analyze and interpret open data sources, user behavior trends, and industry benchmarks to support decision-making.
Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure data security, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and ethical AI standards are met.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI in a large-scale platform environment.
Technical Skills
Python, R, or Scala
machine learning frameworks
SQL, NoSQL databases
data processing tools
NLP, deep learning, time-series forecasting, or recommender systems.
cloud platforms
containerization tools
Soft Skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Self-driven with a passion for continuous learning in AI and big data.
Preferred Skills
Experience working on public or open-source platforms.
Understanding of bias mitigation, explainable AI, and ethical AI principles.
Knowledge of blockchain, decentralized data platforms, or Web3 technologies is a plus.
