Job Description

We are seeking an experienced API Engineer to design, develop, and optimize APIs that align with business needs. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with best practices, contribute to internal API communities, and support seamless API integration.

Responsibilities

Design and specify APIs based on business requirements.
Review Pull Requests to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Advocate for best practices in API development and participate in internal API communities.
Enhance team tools and processes while monitoring assets in production.
Provide technical and business support for API integrations.
Document and manage API-related projects to ensure smooth execution and delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4 to 6 years of experience in API design and development.
API specification standards such as OpenAPI 3.x and Swagger 2.0.
RESTful APIs, ISO standards, RFC, JSON, XML, and YAML.
Agile methodologies
business analysis
UML and MindMap (XMind)
Git, Office 360, Postman, Swagger, and VSCode.
