Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer
Location: Home Based
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (+ on call worth additional £9k, + benefits including training & certifications)

We are looking to recruit an SC Cleared Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer for a global software and solutions organisation. Working as part of my client's Professional Services Team you will be responsible for primarily supporting development environments for my client's customers.
Role Overview: As an Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer, you will support development
environments for my client's diverse customer base. This home-based role requires minimal travel and involves working with a variety of server-side technologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in IT Managed Services.
Strong background in Azure and hybrid/on-prem environments.
Proficient in PowerShell, with a preference for experience in Bicep or Terraform.
Valid SC Clearance
Technical Environment Expertise:
Windows Server: 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022 (DNS, DHCP, IIS, NPS, RDS, DFS, GPO)
Active Directory: Multiple forests and domains
MS SQL: Basic troubleshooting
Office 365: Setup and configuration to best practices
Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure (IaaS, Identity management), AWS
Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V
SAN and Clustering: Dell, HP SANs, Windows NLB
System Center: SCOM, SCCM, DPM, SCVMM
Backup Technologies: Veeam, DPM, Commvault
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep
Firewall Management: Fortigate, Draytech, Sophos
Scripting: Automation using PowerShell
Compliance and Security Frameworks: Familiarity with various standards
