Front-End Developer
Salary: £120,000 (Flexible)
Location: Hybrid 1-3 days a week (Central London)
We're hiring on behalf of a fast-moving tech company building creative, AI-powered tools. They're looking for a Front-End Developer with strong React skills and experience in high-performance graphics rendering.
Role Overview:
You'll develop and optimize a web-based graphics tool focused on performance, interactivity, and clean UI. Ideal for someone with React, WebGL or Canvas experience, and a passion for creative tech.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain front-end features using React and WebGL
Develop high-performance 2D graphics and UI components
Optimize performance across devices and browsers
Work closely with design, backend, and AI teams
Write clean, efficient code and follow best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve UI/graphics issues
Stay current on front-end and graphics tech
Requirements:
Essential:
Strong skills in TypeScript and React
Solid understanding of UI/UX and responsive design
Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
Familiar with build tools (Vite, Webpack)
Comfortable with Canvas/WebGL/WebGPU rendering
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Desirable:
Experience with Pixi.js, Three.js, or similar libraries
Knowledge of AI/ML tools for image or design automation
Some backend experience (e.g. Node.js)
Familiar with CI/CD workflows
Interest in generative art or creative coding
