Job Title:Senior Teradata Engineer

Work Type & Location: London Hybrid (2 days in office)

Role Description

As a Senior Teradata Engineer, your primary objective will be to work on the transformation of the Commercial Banking Data Warehouse to GCP. This is a high-impact role contributing to a critical migration initiative within the banking domain, offering exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on working with Teradata and other Data Warehouses
Implementation of Teradata utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, Multiload, TPT, etc.) for efficient data loading
Transformation of Teradata to GCP

Key Skills / Knowledge / Experience

Hands-on experience with Teradata and other Data Warehouses
Deep expertise in Teradata architecture, star schema, snowflake schema, SQL optimization, and data modelling
Experience implementing Teradata utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, Multiload, TPT, etc.)
Expertise in Teradata tools like Viewpoint, Query Grid, TD Stats, and TDWM
Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and ETL processes
Experience with Teradata performance tuning, workload management (TASM), and partitioning strategies
Experience with Teradata in GCP
