We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our Regional Civils team based in Bridgewater Tidal Barrier, Somerset.

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Contract: Permanent, full time- some flexibility on hours available if desired. Just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a Section Engineer, you'll be working within the Regional Civils team, supporting the team working on a collaborative Delivery Framework with the Environment Agency delivering schemes across the Southwest.

Your Day To Day Will Include

Ensuring construction records are completed including preparation of “as-built” drawings and schedules, ensure recording and testing of workmanship and materials i.e., drainage, concrete, piling and brickwork etc
Keeping records enabling the progress of work to be reviewed and provide engineering support to technical problems
Preparing 4 week lookaheads, Plan of the Week, and managing the day to day activities for a given Section of Work
Preparing RAM's and work pack to ensure works can be undertaken safely

What are we looking for?

This role of Section Engineer is great for you if:

You are an enthusiastic and proactive individual with relevant qualifications, HNC Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
You have knowledge and experience of the main management systems and processes used within a large multidisciplinary project
You are able to liaise in a professional manner with client, client representatives and general public
