Lead Engineer (will look at Seniors looking to step up) - React/Node - £90-120K

A YC-backed, Series A start-up that has a SaaS product reshaping how businesses operate and empowering teams globally is seeking 2 x Tech Leads (or capable Seniors with mentoring experience to step up), to drive technical excellence and innovation within their respective squads. This role involves leading a team of engineers, collaborating with senior leadership, and delivering scalable, high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and grow an engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence
Design and develop new features in collaboration with leadership
Build and maintain scalable backend (TS/Node.js, Postgres, Redis, Kubernetes) and frontend (ReScript, React.js) solutions
Expand the third-party integration marketplace
Support technical architecture planning and cross-functional teams

Requirements:
Proven leadership or line management experience
Strong full-stack development expertise, ideally within SaaS
Advanced knowledge of TypeScript / JavaScript
Experience working with product teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
Computer Science or STEM education

Although years of experience are not a deciding factor, we expect that the most suitable candidates will have at least 6-7+ years of industry experience.

Ideally with at least 1-year in a Tech Lead (or similar) position but strong Seniors with project leadership and mentoring experience are also welcome to apply.

This role is based in Central London with in-office collaboration on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
