Job Description

Our client is actively looking for a .NET Architect to join its Backend Development Center of Excellence team. The Backend DCoE team is a small team of independent architects and software engineers who are responsible for the creation, architecture and maintenance of the internally developed reusable architecture. The team is also responsible for giving guidelines and providing the appropriate architecture and tooling.

Responsibilities

Define the target architecture for backend development in general and for actual backend implementations
Discuss and align solutions between the architects in the team – Coach and support the team’s developers
Provide documentation, training, and hands-on support for the different teams doing backend development
Define the target architecture of new applications
Create documentation on the target architecture
Create guidelines on the use of Entity Framework Core
Define the target internal architecture of backend services
Define our integration testing strategy
Improve & automate our CI/CD processes

Technical Skills

Expert in distributed backend development
Expert in an object-oriented language
Experience with ORM mappers
Expert in technical writing
Experience in REST API Development (JSON, Swagger, ..)
Active knowledge of Architecture & design guidelines

Preferable Skills

Experience in C# | .NET 8
Experience with Entity Framework Core
Experience with Relational Database design
Experience as a .NET application Architect
Experience with the Azure stack
Experience with Clean Architecture
Experience with Domain Driven Design

Dutch
French
