Our client are a top tier consultancy looking for an Agile Delivery Manager on a 6 months contract.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multidisciplinary teams through the full Agile delivery lifecycle (Discovery to Live), ensuring alignment with GDS standards and service assessments.
Champion Agile principles and delivery practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Work closely with Product Managers, Technical Architects, Business Analysts and stakeholders to ensure clear delivery priorities and roadmaps.
Mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and remove blockers to enable the team to deliver at pace.
Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders in Agile and lean delivery methodologies.
Collaborate with user research and design teams to ensure user-centred delivery.
Manage and report on project timelines, budgets, and progress to senior stakeholders and programme leadership.
?? Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Manager within public sector or government digital programmes.
Strong understanding of the Government Digital Service (GDS) Service Standard, including experience preparing for and passing GDS service assessments.
Solid background in software development or QA/testing, with an ability to understand technical constraints and development lifecycles.
Experience leading high-performing, cross-functional Agile teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, Miro, etc.
Strong risk, issue, and dependency management capabilities.
