Meta is looking for a Security Operations Analyst to join the Policy, Risk, Compliance, and Data Access team within Information Security. This position is best suited for someone that has a passion for gaining experience in understanding broad aspects of Information Security as well understand and execute Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) in regards to Access Management, Tier 1 and 2 Support of the Team's Programs and triage tasks according to area of specialty. The Security Operations Analyst will also need to identify areas that can benefit from improvement and not hesitate to make recommendations to processes and procedures. This role is located at our offices in London.

Security Operations Analyst Responsibilities:

Help demonstrate Meta’s commitment to security within the company
Understand, execute, and seek to improve Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs)
Experience evaluating, prioritizing, and fulfilling operational requests
Ensure successful transition of project deliverables to support/maintenance/operations teams
Understand technical implementation details necessary to manage access to internal and external tools
Understand the security policies and needs to effectively uphold access management commitments
Understand the security needs of internal and external stakeholders, regulators, and auditors
Evaluate access requests and provision access to internal and external tools for risk concerns, address permission gaps
Help identify, organize, and remedy excessive permissions
Assist with daily activities and functions of the team to maintain policy, compliance, and risk management commitments
Continuously assess and drive improvements of internal Meta tools requests, technical capabilities, and business processes to drive down access request volume while keeping access management and enforcement principles in mind by working with business and software engineering partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

Passion for Information Security and have a global mindset.
2+ years of working experience in access management, data analysis, information security, technical operations, or similar capacities
1+ year of working experience in an analyst role
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent, Information Systems or equivalent work experience
Experience with user provisioning and access management processes
Experience in information security concepts and applying them at scale
Experience independently leading projects to completion
Experience with working with leadership and engineers
Experience working independently and collaboratively across various levels and teams
Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Experience working across cross-functional teams
Experience managing competing priorities and simultaneous projects

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, etc.)
Experience in Identity and Access Management operations
Practical experience of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities
Change-oriented – proactively generates process improvements, supports and drives change, confronts difficult circumstances that require strategic direction, analysis of situations and conceptual thinking
