Role: Business Analyst (Regulatory)
Location: Central London
Day rate: £500-£550/d
Contract Length: 6 months

An IT consultancy based in London are offering the opportunity for a Business Analyst to join their end client on an inital 6 month contract. You'll be supporting the back testing and P&L attribution testing workstream for their regulatory project.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst (Regulatory):
Responsible for the design of the front to back process of sourcing data from the Finance systems to the Market Risk application to meet the testing and reporting requirements of the regulator
Migrate the cross-business operations reconciliations & balance sheet substantiation processes to the strategic sub-ledger
Design the Strategic Cash Accounting and Internal Non-settling trade cashflow target operating models
Design and integrate the new billing system with the financial accounting and report systems
Capture the business requirements, liaising between external vendor and internal technology team to define and execute the test plan & provide post implementation support

Requirements of the Business Analyst (Regulatory):
Strong experience on back testing and P&L attribution testing
Good knowledge as the sub-ledger accounting migration for the Collateral Bilateral business
Previous experience of building regulatory models
Experience in IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss modelling, Unexpected Credit Loss analysis and Basel framework compliance
High level of attention to detail enabling the production of analyses with a consistently high degree of accuracy
