Scheduling Technician

Hello, we’re Severn Trent Services a commercial arm of the Severn Trent Group. We provide water and waste services to companies nationwide, including the MoD and The Coal Authority.

We’re currently recruiting for a Scheduling Technician to join our growing team on a 12-month fixed term contract within Oren Environmental based out of the Coal Authority Office in Mansfield.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

As our Scheduling Technician you’ll deliver a high level of customer service whilst meeting health and safety, financial, KPI, statutory, quality and contractual compliance.

You’ll identify, develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues through written and verbal communication. While working with the field team and operations management to maximise productivity and efficiency.

Additionally, you’ll work closely with the field Operational supervisors to ensure teams time is scheduled and maximized. You’ll also provide support to both customers and colleagues with scheduling and system input where required.

The Other Key Accountabilities Of The Role Are

Schedule workload for national coverage for both routine PPM works and reactive / Ad hoc works.
Manage CRM system with opportunity and quote information.
Raise Purchase orders and process receipts and invoices for suppliers to manage project costs.
Submit pre populated Health & safety documentation to customers and manage personal workloads to ensure maximum productivity and effective time management.
Maintain and update systems with updated and schedule in advance and communicate with key stakeholders. You’ll also strive for 100% completion of all PPM Visits and completion of works in a timely manner.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

To succeed in this role, you’ll have scheduling experience and ideally geographical planning and an in-depth geographical knowledge and be confident in managing the expectations of Key stakeholders.

You’ll also have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and react proactively to last-minute changes. With a good eye for detail, you’ll be able to produce KPI reports when required and be Moderate to advance on Excel.
