Job overview / purpose
The Junior Technical Consultant will work within the Azure practice alongside technical Consultants and Architects to deliver high-quality based deployments and workload support to our customers for services running in Azure and on Windows / Linux operating systems.

Main duties and responsibilities
Attend scoping workshops with a customer to understand project and technical requirements
Project delivery based on LLD / HLD designs created by Azure Consultants and Architects
Creation of handover documents and final handover workshops
Setup and delivery of Azure migrate assessments
Work alongside Senior Consultants and Architects to migrate resources into Azure via the Azure migrate tooling
Creation of Azure consumption cost predictions and reports
Deliver Azure cost analysis and optimisation reviews
Deliver Azure best practice reviews based on the Well-Architected Framework
Escalation point for Azure issues that arise from environment monitoring via our Azure Managed Service
Respond to customer queries regarding Azure technologies
Learning and research towards new exams or certifications

Skills, experience and qualifications
Experience creating and supporting Azure services including IaaS and PaaS based workloads
Experience supporting Windows Server and Linux operating systems
An ability to react quickly, decisively, and deliberately in high-stress, high-impact situations.
Ability to author high-quality technical documentation
An understanding of Azure best practice processes, standards, and architecture.
Ability to discuss Azure technologies comfortably and on the fly during customer facing workshops.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent listening, communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills.
Ability to work to customer and internal deadlines.
Takes pride in actively developing skills
Having any of the following would be advantageous:
Azure Administrator Certification (AZ104)
Azure Architect Expert (AZ305)
Azure Security Engineer (AZ500)
Azure Network Engineer (AZ700)
Azure DevOps Engineer (AZ400)
Azure Virtual Desktop (AZ140)
Terraform Associate
IaC Skills (Bicep or Terraform)
