Position Purpose

Your Challenge:

The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for sales of sponsorship programs to healthcare technology and pharmaceutical companies. This is a full-time position based in EMEA, requiring limited travel, mainly within Europe and Middle East. This is an excellent role for someone who wants to build a career in sales and who identifies with HIMSS’s vision “To realize the full health potential of every human, everywhere”. Essential Functions

Establish and develop relationships with existing and new clients through telesales and face-to-face meetings, to understand their priorities and challenges
Create compelling programs for our clients by gathering information and conducting research, as well as collaboration with Key Account managers from EMEA and NA
Track and manage pipeline and customer engagement daily (through Salesforce.com)
Work with the sales fulfillment team to generate contracts and ensure professional service delivery of your clients’ projects.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

At least 7 years of experience in a b2b sales role or relevant education, preferably in Exhibition/Sponsorship sales.
The curiosity to learn, listen and understand how technology and information can improve healthcare outcomes for all of us.
Strong communicator who loves to interact with customers. Appetite to identify solutions for customers. Proud and confident to follow through to sales.
Fluent written and verbal English. Additional languages helpful
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
No Salesforce.com experience? No worries! We will train you.
The chosen candidate works closely with the Key Account Managers and reports to the Sales Director, EMEA.
