VitalQIP Engineer - Remote

We are currently looking for a Lead VitalQIP Engineer to join one the leading financial institutions globally.
The Lead VitalQIP Engineer will be responsible foroverseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of VitalQIP systems. This role requires a deep understanding of DDI - DNS, DHCP IP address management and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proventrack record of leading technical teams, managing complex projects, and ensuring the reliability and performance of IPAM solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, deployment, and management of VitalQIP IPAM systems.
Oversee the configuration and administration of DNS and DHCP services.
Develop and implement best practices for IP address management, including IP address allocation, subnetting, and IP address space utilization.
Monitor and troubleshoot VitalQIP systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in IPAM technologies.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IP address management, with a focus on VitalQIP.
Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM and network infrastructure.
Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (eg, Cisco, Juniper, Microsoft) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with other IPAM solutions and network management tools.
Knowledge of Scripting languages (eg, Python, Perl) for automation.
Familiarity with cloud-based networking and IPAM solutions.
Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
