I am exclusively working with an AI Product Company who are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead their engineering function under their CTO.

The role:

Drive AI Innovation: Lead the development of AI-powered solutions that transform complex workflows.
Automate and Optimize: Reduce manual tasks and enhance efficiency with advanced automation.
Develop Intuitive UIs: Create seamless user experiences that make complex tasks effortless.

You will work closely with the CTO, shaping product direction, making key architectural decisions, and leading the engineering team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving challenging problems and delivering high-quality software.

You are a good fit if:

You have extensive experience delivering robust, maintainable web applications.
You possess strong design and domain modelling skills and know when to be flexible.
You excel at navigating complexity, making sound architectural decisions, debugging intricate issues, and reasoning about data structures and system design.
You are a proactive learner, eager to dive into new concepts and technologies.

Experience Required
In-depth experience with Python, TypeScript, React, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
GenAI
Experience leading projects & teams
Software Architecture
AI OR FINTECH experience is a plus
Proven leadership skills and the ability to work closely with executive leadership.
