FREELANCE GenAI Solutions Architect

Location: Brussels (Hybrid)
Contract: Freelance
Client: Leading Insurance Company
Duration: Until 31 December 2025

Position Overview
We’re looking for a GenAI Solutions Architect to lead the full-stack design and deployment of AI-driven personal assistants tailored to insurance services, with a primary focus on life and pension domains. This freelance opportunity at a top-tier insurer in Brussels involves defining technical standards, architecting cloud infrastructure, and overseeing efficient integration with existing platforms. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the foundations of a secure and scalable AI environment using Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Solution Architecture
Architect the complete AI solution stack, selecting cloud infrastructure tools (e.g. AKS, API Gateway, Azure components) and designing integration frameworks tailored to enterprise requirements.
Model Governance & Risk Management
Establish guidelines and architecture that prioritize transparency, fairness, and explainability in AI models. This includes security designs, prompt safety mechanisms, and audit trail management.
System Performance & Cross-Team Alignment
Collaborate across enterprise architecture, IT security, and DevOps teams to fine-tune compute resources, real-time API responses, and infrastructure for optimal performance.

Technical Expertise
GenAI & ML Ecosystem: PromptFlow, OpenAI API, Hugging Face, ELK Stack
Cloud & Infrastructure: Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Service Bus, Vector DBs, Event Hub
ML Ops & Automation: Azure ML Pipelines, Data Factory
Security Frameworks: OAuth 2.0, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy

Preferred Certifications
AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
TOGAF 9.2: Enterprise Architecture (Optional)
AI-102: Azure AI Engineer Associate (Optional)
