R&D Technologist – Protein Function & Interaction

UK | 12-month contract | Biotech / Life Sciences

We’re hiring for a lab-based R&D Technologist role with a leading multinational biopharmaceutical company. You’ll join the Protein Function & Interaction team, supporting protein analysis using ELISA, Octet, Biacore, and cell-based assays.

What You’ll Do
Run experiments to assess protein function and binding
Use ELISA, Octet, Biacore, and cell-based or enzymatic assays
Analyse data, document findings, and share results with the team
Help with lab upkeep and general admin

What You’ll Need
BSc in Biochemistry, Biology, Biomanufacturing or similar (MSc a plus)
Hands-on lab experience (e.g. ELISA, cell culture, Octet/SPR, Biacore, Chromatography)
Knowledge of aseptic technique (cell cultures) and binding assays
Knowledge of protein chemistry for analytical application
Team player with good attention to detail
